The waitlist and your details
The short version: we keep what you type into the waitlist form, use it only to tell you when Fiona opens, and delete it whenever you ask.
What we keep
- Your name, company and email address, as you typed them.
- When you joined, and the page you joined from.
- A short description of your browser (for example "Safari on iPhone") and a scrambled, one-way version of your internet address. We use these only to spot and stop automated junk sign-ups. We never keep the address itself.
What we use it for
To email you when Fiona opens. That's all. We don't add you to a newsletter, we don't sell or share your details, and there's no advertising on this site. This site doesn't set any cookies.
Visitor statistics
To see how many people visit and which pages they read, we use cookie-free analytics that we run ourselves on our own UK-based server. It stores no IP addresses, doesn't follow you to other sites and isn't shared with anyone.
When you join, the Fiona team gets a short email with your name, company and email address, so we know who's interested.
Where it's kept
On Fiona's own servers, hosted by Amazon Web Services in the UK. Emails are sent using Amazon's email service.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it, or until we've told everyone on the list that Fiona is open, whichever comes first.
Seeing, changing or removing your details
Email hello@getfiona.co.uk from the address you signed up with and tell us what you'd like. We'll do it and reply to confirm. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Using Fiona itself
This note only covers the waitlist. If you're invited to use Fiona, the app has its own terms and privacy information.
